Parish Outreach Volunteers assist the Parish Outreach Director in a variety of ways, e.g., Food Pantry Helpers, Parish Outreach Clerical Help, Parish Outreach Drivers, Thrift Shop Workers along with greeting clients arriving at the office, answering the phone, and helping maintain the office records.

Food Pantry Helpers help stock shelves, portion donated food, shop for perishables and pack bags of food which are given or delivered to those in need. They serve all the people of our community regardless of race, creed, or ethnic background.

Parish Outreach Clerical Help assist the Outreach Director with seasonal mailings, assemble kits from donated items and maintaining office records.

Parish Outreach Drivers delivery groceries from our pantry to those clients who are unable to get to St Margaret’s. Occasionally they help clients get to and from their doctor appointments.

Thrift Shop Workers provide clothing to families in need. Volunteers sort and steam the shop’s inventory, and staff the shop. We provide gently used clothing at reasonable prices as a way of helping our parish family.
